SapienReq ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our radiology requisition scanning application.

SapienReq processes the following types of information:

• Scanned Requisition Data: Images and text extracted from radiology requisitions you scan using your device camera
• Voice Notes: Audio recordings you create for billing items (processed locally on your device)
• Authentication Data: Access codes used to verify authorized users

How We Use Your Information

We use the information to:

• Extract and display requisition details
• Provide protocol analysis and billing recommendations
• Transcribe voice notes using on-device speech recognition
• Authenticate authorized users

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage: All scanned requisition data and voice notes are stored locally on your device. We do not upload or store this data on our servers.

API Communication: When using protocol analysis features, minimal non-identifying clinical scenario data is sent to our secure Sapien Score API for guideline matching. No patient names, MRNs, or identifying information is transmitted.

Security: All API communications use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS).

Third-Party Services

SapienReq uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): For access code management (Firebase Remote Config)
• Sapien Score API: For radiology appropriateness scoring (anonymized clinical scenarios only)

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Delete all locally stored data by uninstalling the app
• Request information about data processing
• Contact us with privacy concerns

Children's Privacy

SapienReq is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
